Honey Paws partners with organizations working to end puppy mill cruelty and better the lives of breeding dogs. For each of them, we lend a hand with media and marketing and manage their online storefronts, all free of charge, donating proceeds back to their causes.

The partners below are fighting the problem at its source: rescuing and rehabilitating dogs bred for profit, marching against animal testing, and pushing for the laws that would end commercial breeding cruelty for good.

Finding Shelter

Finding Shelter Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3), no-kill, volunteer-supported rescue based in Norristown, Pennsylvania — a short drive from some of the country's most heavily concentrated commercial breeding operations.

Since 2010, they've taken in dogs released from puppy mills and given them what the industry never did: medical care, patient rehabilitation, training, and a permanent home. Mill dogs rarely arrive healthy or socialized. Many have spent years in cages producing litters, and the work of undoing that is slow, expensive, and unglamorous. Finding Shelter does it anyway, alongside advocacy for the state legislation that would shut the mills down, appearing in the 2025 documentary Dogspiracy.

March For Animals

March for Animals is a grassroots organization working to end the use of dogs and other animals in laboratory testing. Their approach rests on public visibility rather than litigation largely because most people never see these facilities or what goes on inside, and that ordinary people can apply pressure where petitions and lawsuits have stalled.

This September, that work takes the form of a 207-mile march from the New York State Capitol in Albany to the gates of Marshall BioResources in North Rose, one of the world's largest commercial suppliers of research animals. The walk begins September 12, 2026 and ends September 26 with a rally at the facility.
